The seed Amalorpavam Higher Secondary School, run by a registered Society “Amalorpavam Educational Welfare Society”, was sown on 26th April 1984 in a small rented building at Ellaiamman Koil Street in Puducherry with a student strength of just 30.
From there it has sprouted and branched out and today it stands rooted firmly in the town as a beacon lighting the torch of learning in every child that thirsts for knowledge under its roof.
Rajagiri Higher Secondary School had a humble beginning in 1964. It was established by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), an indigenous religious congregation of the Roman Catholic Church. The School was founded by Rev. Fr. Francis Sales, CMI (1904-1984), the then Provincial of Sacred Heart Province, Kalamassery.
The School admits fresh students (both boys and girls) in classes from I to XII. Application for admission is to be submitted online…
